- July 2022: In the Fujian province, Budweiser APAC officially opened its new Putian Craft Brewery, and it is now being produced at the AB InBev Food Industrial Park located in Hanjiang, Putian. It is the first craft brewery in the province of Fujian and the biggest under Budweiser APAC. It will manufacture well-known first-line craft beer brands including Boxing Cat and Goose Island, among others.
- June 2022: Yuzu Gose Sour, the first Gose type beer from premium beer company Bira 91, was released in association with Far Yeast Brewing Company, one of Japan's brewing firms. Gose-style craft beer is often a wheat beer with a crisp, refreshing taste and minimal hop bitterness.
