- Zanotta is a furniture brand that Cassina purchased. The acquisition of Zanotta, an Italian furniture company, was announced by Cassina. This move has resulted in Zanotta joining the Haworth Lifestyle Design group, which also consists of Luminaire, Janus Et Cie, Luxury Living, Cassina, Cappellini, Ceccotti, Karakter, and Interni.
- The first physical stores for Chinese e-commerce behemoth JD.com were launched in Europe. The stores in the Netherlands are called Ochama and are situated in Leiden and Rotterdam. Two more are scheduled to open in Amsterdam and Utrecht.
