A unique multi-orbit fleet of SES, offering high throughput, security, and global coverage, was utilised to show how unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)—like the GA-ASI MQ-9 series—can maintain crucial connectivity and dependability even in hostile environments.
- January 2022: In order to supply low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communication services for military and government usage, Airbus and OneWeb entered into a distribution cooperation agreement. By utilising the OneWeb constellation, Airbus hopes to provide new military satellite communication capabilities to security, civil defence, and military personnel in the UK and Europe.
