- In December 2022, Grid Telecom, a fully-owned subsidiary of the Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) in Greece, and Telecom Egypt, Egypt's first integrated telecom operator, announced a partnership to construct a subsea infrastructure that will connect Egypt and Greece.
