- June 2024: Northrop Grumman Corporation and Chemring Nobel AS, a Norwegian specialty chemical company, have inked a long-term sourcing deal for high-energy, explosive powder known as HMX. This arrangement is intended to support warhead production at Northrop Grumman's Missile Products plant at Rocket Center, West Virginia.
- June 2024: In response to the expanding global demand for military hardware, Chemring announced a 15-year partnership arrangement with US defense corporation Northrop Grumman to supply HMX energetic material used in missile developments. The arrangement also includes a $83 million purchase order for the goods.
