- Calero-MDSL, a US-based corporation, announced in April 2021 the acquisition of MetaPort, a major telecom network mapping software provider. With this acquisition, the company will be able to give CIO and CTO enterprises with a unique inventory visualization, giving them a new degree of access into their telecom estates. As a result, the company will be able to increase its presence in the technology expenditure management software market.
- WidePoint Corporation, a U.S.-based corporation, said in July 2020 that it has acquired a new contract with the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (Virginia ABC) to provide Telecom Expense Management services. The contract is for one year, with four subsequent one-year renewal periods. Thus, the company will assist Virginia ABC in meeting the challenges of the pandemic by managing the companies' telecom bills.
