- Aloaca Corporation has declared the creation and implementation of two novel initiatives aimed at fortifying the organization's standing as a top supplier of cutting-edge aluminium alloys. The company recently unveiled A210 ExtruStrongTM, a new high-strength, 6000 series alloy that offers advantages for a variety of extruded applications, such as consumer goods, industrial, transportation, and construction. Furthermore, the high-performance C611 EZCastTM alloy does not require a unique heat treatment.
- Two new alloy materials have been introduced and showcased at Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting by VDM Metals GmbH. The first material is a nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum alloy called VDM FM 31 Plus, whose nitrogen levels are continuously measured. Conversely, VDM presents the VDM® FM 825 CTP material, which was created using the same principles as VDM® Alloy 825 but without the addition of titanium and with a higher molybdenum content. While there is less titanium present, there is less chance of hot cracking and more weldability due to the higher molybdenum percentage.
